Latest Coventry City news from CoventryLive as club confirm medical departure Former Coventry City medical director Paul Godfrey has left the club, it has been confirmed.
He has been with the Sky Blues for almost five years after their arrival in 2019.
Godfrey oversees the assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of all players in the senior and under-23 teams year old.
Godfrey, a physiotherapist and physiologist with over 25 years’ experience in the industry, has been recognized for his work with a number of clubs in recent years including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff City, Swindon Town and Notts County.

A statement released by the club read: “Coventry City FC medical officer Paul Godfrey left the club on 31 October.
“The Club would like to thank Paul for his efforts during the four and a half years he has been with the Club.
