The touchdown pass he caught in the fourth quarter on Sunday was the first of his NFL career.
He is on pace to get 500 yards receiving as a rookie, and it has never been done in Green Bay Packers history for a rookie tight end.
Musgrave was a second-round pick this past spring in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Oregon State.
Love spoke to the media after the game and was happy with Musgrave’s performance.
Jordan Love told the media: “I think we definitely were able to get him in the right position today, get him some opportunities down the field and [use] his speed.
He’s able to get past the defense right there, and he did a really good job of just finishing both those plays off.
His touchdown, being able to make a guy miss right there and finish in the end zone, that’s exactly what you ask for and exactly what you need.
It was a wonderful moment.

Head coach Matt LaFleur also spoke to the media about his performance after the game, saying: “I’m trying to remember exactly how that play went, who suggested it, But that’s something we’ve seen across the league.

We called and everyone got there and did it.
It was definitely a fun moment, for sure.
” Musgrave has a long way to go in order to be on the level of George Kittle.
He will need to continue to show out for the Green Bay Packers for the rest of the season, and that includes the week 10 matchup on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
